AYSO Region 66 Ontario/Montclair

Our Region Board Members have been working hard for the last months to bring the AYSO Soccer experience back to Ontario/Montclair!!!We’re exited to announce that we’ll be hosting a skills camp that will provide your young soccer players with a high quality AYSO development experience.
All Participants players will be given a mask and T-shirt the First week.

While we are all trying to navigate thru the crisis and everchanging environment's, in addition to our state's restrictions, we are sad to inform that we will not be able to have a REGULAR Fall Season. However, the City of Ontario has allowed us to participate in practice environment. Therefore the amazing and hard working volunteers of AYSO Region 66 have decided to create a modified "season" by offering Training Sessions. Our sessions will consist of a
5-week camp style age specific training, getting back to conditioning and skill building. We will also have Skills Challenges on Saturdays. We are planning to begin Saturday November 7th thru Wednesday December 16th.

*due to limited number of participants, time restrictions  as well as specific activities, we do not have the capacity or program available for the 5U 6U, which are ages 4-6 year olds.

In order for us to bring players back on the field, we will follow City of Ontario, as well as CDC and state guidelines. In addition we will add the following to help keep you all as safe as possible:

• limit number of participants per field
• Monitor who enters and leaves the park.
 social distancing at all times
• temperature checks BEFORE each session at drop off
• disinfecting of all equipment
• everyone will wear a mask within the complex
• no spectators

In order for us to continue the safety guidelines, we request your help with the following:

 •  each player must bring their own equipment. This will consist of shin guards, own soccer ball, and a face mask. These 3 items are mandatory to participate. We also suggest own water bottle for hydration as we will not permit sharing of drinks.

 •  No parent/spectator will be allowed on or off the fields. You may leave your child, AFTER they are cleared from pre-screen and pick them up immediately after session is done or you may also choose to wait in your vehicle.

 • masks must be worn at all times. Most activities may allow for masks to be removed, however once session is over, they will be asked to wear masks again to exit the fields.

 •  Pre-screen your children. If you find yourself or your child with symptoms of Covid Virus or flu like symptoms , please stay home and self quarantine. We will send out a link for a way to report any participants with symptoms or positive Covid results to ensure we keep everyone else safe.

*****AYSO has no control over when or how the governing bodies may change our ability to have these training sessions. In the event we are instructed to shut down our region again, we will only be able to provide a partial Refund or Credit but not including the National Fee. This Refund or Credit is subject to the time and manner of shutdown****
